This song was by far the hardest for us to finish. We tried half a dozen pianos, several drummers and approaches, but in the end I think that Michael McDonald was the soul we needed! What a love-bomb of musical mastery. It is an absurd dream and honor that he graced us with his musicianship. Louis Cato plays a shuffle like no other, and David Cutler plays his signature bass stank. Mathilde Retailleau edited together this beautiful collection of footage shot in the making of this track and general studio madness. Hope you love it!
